Postdoctoral Fellowships and Graduate Research Assistantships

The Department of Hydrology and Water Resources at The University of Arizona invites applications for postdoctoral fellowship and graduate research assistantships.  These positions are available immediately.  This individual will be responsible for developing stochastic information fusion technologies for “seeing” into groundwater basins: characterizing, monitoring and predicting movement of fluids in the vadose zone and aquifers.  Candidates should have strong background in numerical methods, computer sciences, stochastic methods, fluid mechanics, and subsurface hydrology.  Some knowledge of applied geophysics is highly desirable.
